Description
Suzuki Multan City Motors is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field and has up to two years of experience. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the general ledger management. The candidate should possess a basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures, demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills, and show the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information. Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Office, and accounting software or ERP systems is highly preferred. Automotive dealership experience is considered an advantage. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively within the team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial data. This position does not involve managing a team but requires organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple financial tasks effectively. Strong communication skills are necessary to coordinate with various departments and contribute to the smooth operation of financial activities within the company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries and bookkeeping.
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in financial reporting by compiling data from various sources to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, vouchers, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial information and documentation.
- Utilize MS Excel, MS Office, and accounting software or ERP systems for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Support the finance department in auditing processes and provide necessary documentation.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Apply basic accounting principles to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data and facilitate accurate accounting operations.
- Continuously improve financial procedures and contribute to process enhancements to increase efficiency.
- Assist with budget preparation and cash flow management as required.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial documents to management and regulatory bodies.
- Keep updated with changes in accounting standards and practices relevant to the automotive industry.
