The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering and brings over five years of experience in automotive after-sales or service operations. This role demands strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, combined with hands-on experience managing workshop and service teams. The Service Manager leads a team of 30 persons, ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining excellent customer relations and meeting the organization’s service performance targets. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and customer handling skills to foster a productive and customer-centric service environment. The Service Manager takes full responsibility for all aspects of workshop management, including service quality, warranty processes, and key performance indicators. Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a service team of 30 persons to achieve set performance goals and maintain high service quality standards.
- Develop and implement service procedures and policies aligned with company standards and customer expectations.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, diagnostic processes, and complex repairs to guarantee customer satisfaction and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.
- Monitor key service performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve service department efficiency and customer experience.
- Coordinate warranty claim processes and ensure compliance with all warranty guidelines and regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues to maintain strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales and parts to streamline service operations and enhance overall dealership performance.
- Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are followed within the workshop.
- Implement continuous training and development programs for service staff to upgrade their technical knowledge and skills.
- Prepare regular reports on workshop performance, customer feedback, and staff productivity for senior management review.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts needed for workshop operations.
- Analyze service trends and customer feedback to identify areas for service enhancement and operational improvement.
