The Valve Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and inventory of valves, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring all equipment is up to date and functioning correctly. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of valves and related components to ensure availability for operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to replenish stock timely and negotiate favorable terms.
- Inspect and verify the quality and specifications of incoming and existing valve inventory.
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, and replacements to track the lifecycle of valves.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures for valve handling and storage to preserve quality.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address any issues or requirements related to valve operations.
- Monitor shop activities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to inventory status, maintenance activities, and operational metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes, reduce costs, or increase efficiency in the valve shop.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the valve shop.
