Tarbeyyat Ul Hujjaj Group is seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Accountant with at least 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of credit and debit principles and is proficient in Excel. This position involves managing key accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records. The role requires experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials, to facilitate efficient financial operations. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the successful Accountant will collaborate closely with other departments to support the company’s financial integrity and compliance. The Accountant contributes to maintaining the company’s financial health by preparing financial data, resolving discrepancies, and supporting audits. The role involves regular monitoring and updating of financial records, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies. This position demands attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy. The candidate will be responsible for producing financial reports that aid management in strategic decision-making and ensuring the smooth daily operation of accounting activities within Tarbeyyat Ul Hujjaj Group.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes accurately and timely.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure balanced financial records.
- Perform account reconciliations, including general ledger reconciliation, to detect and correct discrepancies.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials for efficient financial data management and reporting.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements and reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Monitor and analyze financial transactions to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in preparing documents and supporting materials during internal and external audits.
- Maintain precise records of credit and debit transactions and verify their accuracy within accounting systems.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills to perform data analysis, create reports, and support financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal departments to exchange necessary financial information and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting procedures.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities and reporting.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting principles, regulations, and best practices relevant to the industry and company.
