Description

Tecno Group is seeking a skilled Site & Charging Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering to oversee on-site electrical projects, specializing in low-voltage installations and EV charging systems. This role involves conducting detailed electrical site surveys, performing load calculations, and preparing accurate as-built documentation to ensure the successful implementation of electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds a BE or BSc degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses 3 to 5 years of practical experience in electrical site work, building services, or solar and EV charging installations. Although team management is not required, the engineer will be responsible for coordinating and supervising contractors on-site to guarantee compliance with safety and quality standards. Willingness to travel between Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi is essential for this position. In this role, the Site & Charging Engineer applies comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety standards and building power systems to deliver reliable, efficient solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements. The engineer collaborates closely with project stakeholders to provide technical guidance and ensure that electrical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to the highest standards. This position demands strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments across multiple cities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the technical success of low-voltage electrical projects, contributing to Tecno Group’s reputation for excellence in the electrical engineering sector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical site surveys to assess existing conditions and project requirements.
• Perform electrical load calculations to design safe and efficient low-voltage electrical systems.
• Prepare detailed as-built documentation reflecting the final installed systems accurately.
• Manage and coordinate on-site contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of electrical installations.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with applicable electrical safety standards and building codes.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align technical specifications with project objectives.
• Monitor installation progress and troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Travel between Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi to oversee multiple project sites as required.
• Provide technical advice and support regarding solar installation and EV charging systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in low-voltage electrical technologies and industry best practices.
