The Healing Lounge is seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist who approaches mental healthcare with a holistic perspective. The ideal candidate conducts thorough clinical assessments and mental health diagnoses, providing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. The psychiatrist works closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and coaches to ensure comprehensive patient care that addresses both medical and psychological aspects of mental health. This role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care in outpatient or hospital settings. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations, managing medication where clinically appropriate, and continuously monitoring patient progress. Candidates should hold an MBBS degree with FCPS or MCPS in Psychiatry and possess valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. Previous experience of 1 to 2 years in clinical outpatient or hospital-based psychiatric practice is required. While this position does not involve managing a team, strong collaboration skills are essential for working within an integrated care environment to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status.
• Diagnose mental health disorders according to established psychiatric guidelines.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including medication management when necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients treated.
• Provide psychoeducation and counseling to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.
• Stay updated with advancements in psychiatric research and best practices to enhance treatment quality.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards governing psychiatric practice.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training programs to maintain clinical competency.
