The Helper Dispatch is seeking a dedicated Taxi Dispatcher with at least one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and customer service skills, along with proficiency in dispatch software and GPS navigation systems. This role involves coordinating taxi services efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs, and serving as a vital link between drivers and passengers. The successful candidate must be able to manage time effectively and use map reading skills to direct vehicles accurately. This position does not involve managing a team but requires maintaining smooth operations and clear communication within the dispatch environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate taxi pickups and drop-offs by efficiently assigning rides to drivers based on location, availability, and traffic conditions.
• Use dispatch software and GPS navigation systems to monitor vehicle locations and manage the flow of taxi services.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with both drivers and passengers to provide timely updates and resolve any issues or delays.
• Maintain an organized system for tracking dispatch requests, ensuring that rides are scheduled and completed accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and handling complaints with diplomacy and efficiency.
• Apply strong time management skills to prioritize dispatch requests and reduce wait times for passengers.
• Read and interpret maps and routes to guide drivers effectively and suggest alternate routes when necessary for traffic or road closures.
• Ensure compliance with all company and local regulations related to passenger transport and safety.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of dispatch activities and communicate any disruptions or incidents to management.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service quality and dispatch procedures continuously.
