The Learning School & College is seeking a dedicated and visionary Principal to lead its academic, administrative, and institutional functions. This role requires a dynamic leader who will uphold and advance the institution's mission of providing affordable, inclusive, and quality education. The Principal is responsible for maintaining high academic standards, overseeing student development, managing admissions, budgeting, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Leading a sizable team of approximately 100 teaching and administrative staff, the Principal plays a key role in fostering a collaborative and progressive educational environment. In addition to operational leadership, the Principal is entrusted with strengthening the Technical Training Institute, encouraging innovation and technology integration, driving enrolment growth, and supporting the institution's future expansion plans. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong educational leadership, effective communication, conflict resolution skills, and a proven ability to engage with parents, community members, and institutional partners. Experience in technical or vocational education enhances the applicant's suitability for this crucial leadership position.
Responsibilities
- Lead academic programs and maintain high educational standards across all departments.
- Oversee the recruitment, development, and management of a team of approximately 100 teaching and administrative staff members.
- Manage student admissions processes ensuring alignment with institutional goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage budgets to support school operations, programs, and growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local education regulations and standards while upholding the institution’s mission and values.
- Foster effective communication and engagement with parents, community partners, and stakeholders to promote school activities and build strong relationships.
- Drive enrolment strategies and student retention efforts to increase the institution’s reach and impact.
- Promote the integration of technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Strengthen the Technical Training Institute by supporting curriculum development, infrastructure improvement, and industry partnerships.
- Resolve conflicts professionally and maintain a positive, inclusive school culture.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives supporting school growth, expansion, and sustainability.
- Monitor and evaluate school performance metrics, student progress, and staff development.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies to maintain accreditations and adopt best practices in education administration.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities for staff to enhance skills and instructional quality.
