You take responsibility for forecasting labor requirements, managing capacity planning, and applying cost-control measures to maximize operational efficiency. Additionally, you will oversee time and attendance systems to ensure labor compliance and accurate workforce tracking. The Assistant Factory and Production Manager contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production workflows and processes at The Organic Meat Company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling production activities to meet manufacturing deadlines.
• Manage and coordinate a team of 7 personnel to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Monitor inventory and materials to maintain continuous production and reduce wastage.
• Implement production cost control measures and monitor budgets to achieve financial targets.
• Forecast labor requirements and plan workforce capacity to match production demands.
• Oversee time and attendance systems to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to maintain production quality standards.
• Identify areas for process improvements and support the implementation of optimized procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing industry safety standards and company policies.
• Communicate production status and issues to senior management and other relevant departments.
• Support training and development of team members to enhance skills and performance.
