Description
This is a hands-on role requiring a skilled individual committed to delivering high-quality, efficient, and scalable e-commerce solutions without remote or freelance arrangements. The developer focuses on customizing WooCommerce themes and plugins, managing page caching, and implementing CDN configurations to improve load times and site reliability. The position demands collaboration within the team to ensure alignment with company goals and client requirements. The candidate must be proficient in Elementor as well and possess a strong understanding of CSS and SCSS styling to maintain visual consistency and performance across all webpage components.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites and WooCommerce online stores according to project specifications.
- Customize WooCommerce themes and plugins to extend functionality and tailor the online shopping experience.
- Integrate and configure payment gateways securely and efficiently.
- Optimize website performance through page caching, CDN configuration, and performance monitoring tools like WP Rocket and Cloudflare.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility of all developed pages and components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to implement changes and upgrades while maintaining style consistency.
- Implement HTML, CSS, SCSS styling enhancements to improve visual design and site responsiveness.
- Maintain coding standards and best practices in PHP, JavaScript, and front-end development technologies.
- Conduct regular website testing and performance analysis to identify improvement areas.
- Assist in the development and deployment of custom themes and plugins as per client and business needs.
- Keep documentation of development processes, configurations, and solutions for internal knowledge sharing.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and upcoming priorities.
