Description
Theta Solutions seeks a motivated .NET Developer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our on-site team. The ideal candidate has strong skills in .NET and ASP.NET Core development alongside hands-on experience with advanced AI-powered coding tools like Cursor AI. This role requires writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while integrating AI solutions into software development workflows to build innovative applications. The developer will actively contribute to project success within a collaborative environment and participate in managing a small team of 3 members to deliver high-quality software products. The position demands strong problem-solving ability, proficient use of version control systems such as Git and GitHub, and deep knowledge of RESTful API development and database schema management. By leveraging Agile methodologies, the developer will ensure continuous improvement and adaptability of deliverables. This is a full-time on-site role at Theta Solutions that values creativity, technical excellence, and teamwork to push forward the boundaries of AI-assisted software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy robust .NET and ASP.NET Core applications following best practices in software engineering.
- Integrate AI-powered coding tools, specifically Cursor AI, into the development process to enhance coding productivity and quality.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end and third-party integrations with scalability and security in mind.
- Use Entity Framework, Fluent API, and Code First Migrations to create and manage efficient database schemas and models.
- Implement unit testing procedures to validate code quality and reduce bugs across the application lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers in Agile teams to deliver iterative software improvements on schedule.
- Oversee and mentor a small team of 3 developers, guiding their technical growth and coordinating task allocation to meet project goals.
- Manage source code and version control using Git and GitHub, ensuring smooth collaboration and effective code review practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on production systems.
- Continuously research and adopt emerging technologies and best practices that can improve development efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure consistent documentation of technical processes, architecture, and API specifications to support team knowledge sharing.
