Description
TomaFreight is hiring one experienced US truck dispatcher for our Model Town, Lahore office. You will book loads on DAT and Truckstop, negotiate with brokers, and stay in touch with drivers. At least 1 year of US dispatch experience required. Night shift. PKR 60K-85K base plus commission.
Responsibilities
- Plan and assign truck loads efficiently to ensure timely deliveries across designated routes.
- Coordinate communication between truck drivers, warehouse staff, and clients during night operations.
- Monitor shipment progress and update scheduling to handle delays or issues proactively.
- Utilize TomaFreight software and tools for load planning and tracking freight status.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Resolve logistical problems quickly to minimize disruption in delivery schedules.
- Manage route optimization to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure all drivers receive necessary information and instructions for their assignments.
- Conduct regular follow-up with drivers to confirm delivery status and handle any arising concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
