Description
Magic Mentor is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our creative team at our DC colony Gujranwala office. This full-time position requires an individual with at least one year of professional experience in video production and post-production processes. The successful candidate must be office-bound and committed to delivering high-quality video content that effectively communicates our brand message and engages our audience. The role does not involve managing a team but demands strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other creative professionals to produce compelling visual stories. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. The role requires expertise in various editing techniques, including video editing, color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics. Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro is essential. The editor will also work on storyboarding, timeline editing, and integrating visual effects to enhance the overall visual impact of the videos. Sound editing skills are critical to ensure clear audio quality and proper synchronization with the visuals.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished projects ready for distribution using Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
- Perform color correction and grading to enhance video aesthetics and maintain brand consistency.
- Apply motion graphics and visual effects to support storytelling and improve viewer engagement.
- Edit and mix audio tracks to deliver clear and balanced sound that complements the visual content.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop storyboards and translate creative concepts into final video content.
- Maintain organized timeline editing to ensure smooth transitions and logical flow within videos.
- Review all video content for quality control, including checking for errors in audio and video synchronization.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high production standards.
- Ensure all produced videos comply with company policies and standards for content appropriateness.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends to continuously improve editing quality.
