Tri-Angels Electronics is seeking an experienced Solar Inverter Technician with at least five years of hands-on experience in repairing solar inverters ranging from 1 to 8 kVA. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing solar inverters to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate uses technical expertise in electrical circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and firmware updates to diagnose and resolve inverter issues efficiently. The technician works independently and does not manage a team, emphasizing technical skill and customer service in every task. The Solar Inverter Technician is responsible for servicing solar power systems by analyzing electrical circuits, conducting thorough inspections, and updating firmware through appropriate tools. The role requires working closely with customers, providing clear explanations of technical issues, and ensuring prompt resolution to enhance satisfaction. Continuous improvement in repair techniques and staying current with evolving technology in solar energy systems are essential aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in solar inverters ranging from 1 to 8 kVA using electrical circuit analysis and specialized troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform routine maintenance and testing to ensure the safe and efficient operation of solar inverter systems.
• Update and configure inverter firmware using dedicated firmware update tools to enhance performance and address software issues.
• Interpret and follow technical manuals, schematics, and service guides accurately to support repairs and maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, explaining technical problems and solutions clearly.
• Document repair procedures, parts used, and maintenance records accurately for ongoing quality assurance and compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and service teams to source replacement parts and coordinate complex repairs when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment meeting all safety standards and technical specifications.
• Stay updated with advancements in solar inverter technologies and repair methodologies through continuous learning.
• Assist in training junior technicians or interns when required, sharing knowledge about inverter systems and troubleshooting.
