Tristar Technologies is seeking a highly skilled QuickBooks Online Setup & Accounting Expert to lead the implementation and management of our accounting system. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in setting up and optimizing QuickBooks Online, particularly within Telecom, ISP, IT Services, or subscription-based business environments. This role requires in-depth knowledge of accounting best practices, precise data migration, and strong financial reporting capabilities. The expert will manage a dedicated team of six professionals, ensuring seamless integration and accurate financial management aligned with company goals. The candidate will be responsible for configuring the chart of accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining comprehensive expense tracking and financial reconciliations. The role demands a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills who can oversee the full cycle accounting functions and support strategic financial decision-making through reliable reporting. The individual must demonstrate proven expertise in data reconciliation and validation within QuickBooks Online, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance at all stages of the accounting process.
Responsibilities
- Lead the setup and configuration of QuickBooks Online tailored to the specific needs of Telecom, ISP, IT Services, or subscription-based business models.
- Manage and customize the chart of accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational structure and financial reporting requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Coordinate and execute data migration into QuickBooks Online, guaranteeing data integrity and seamless transition from previous systems.
- Implement robust expense tracking mechanisms to monitor all financial expenditures effectively.
- Supervise data reconciliation and validation processes within QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, providing actionable insights to support strategic planning and management decisions.
- Manage and mentor a team of six accounting professionals, facilitating knowledge sharing and performance improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies throughout all accounting operations.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve efficiencies within QuickBooks Online and accounting procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve accounting-related queries promptly.
- Monitor updates and new features within QuickBooks Online and integrate necessary enhancements into current workflows.
- Provide training and support on QuickBooks Online usage to internal stakeholders to promote system adoption and proficiency.
- Conduct periodic audits of financial records and processes to safeguard against discrepancies and fraud.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of accounting procedures, configurations, and changes to support audit trails and knowledge management.
