Description
The role demands comprehensive knowledge of various advanced market concepts, including Fair Value Gaps, Liquidity Sweeps, Climactic Action Bars, and RSI Divergence, both regular and hidden. Candidates should excel at utilizing TradingView for charting and conducting manual backtesting exercises. Besides technical prowess, the VSA Technical Trading Expert must demonstrate rigorous documentation skills, particularly in trade journaling and reporting using Excel or Google Sheets. This position is for a self-motivated and detail-oriented technical trader who thrives under structured guidelines and consistently applies risk management and position sizing techniques to safeguard capital and maximize returns. The role does not involve managing a team but necessitates strong personal accountability and discipline.
Responsibilities
- Perform live market monitoring and execute trades using Volume Spread Analysis and other technical analysis methods to identify market opportunities in PSX and PMEX markets.
- Conduct detailed manual backtesting of trading strategies to validate performance and identify improvements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive trade journals, including screenshots and detailed documentation of all trading activities and decisions.
- Develop, refine, and follow a rigorous trading Standard Operating Procedure to ensure consistent and disciplined trading execution.
- Analyze various financial instruments such as commodities, metals, futures, and stocks with a focus on technical charting indicators and price action.
- Apply advanced technical concepts including Market Structure, Order Blocks, Fair Value Gaps, Liquidity Sweeps, Climactic Action Bars, and RSI Divergence to trading strategies.
- Utilize TradingView platform effectively for charting, analysis, and strategy development.
- Implement risk management techniques including stop-loss planning, position sizing, and take-profit levels to manage exposure and protect capital.
- Prepare regular reports and trading summaries using Excel or Google Sheets for performance tracking and review.
- Maintain emotional control and discipline during trading activities to avoid impulsive decisions and ensure adherence to the trading plan.
- Stay updated with market conditions and continuously improve trading methodologies based on market behavior and backtesting results.
- Collaborate with team members and share insights, though this role does not involve direct team management.
