Description
Turbo and Swift Logistics is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team. This role focuses on expanding our business reach within key regions such as Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad by targeting importers, exporters, traders, and online sellers. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in freight forwarding or logistics sales, along with an existing network in the import-export sector, enabling them to drive new business opportunities effectively. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for promoting a comprehensive range of services including sea freight, air freight, road and rail freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and door-to-door solutions. The position demands active engagement through outbound communications, client visits, and meticulous management of sales pipelines and quotations. Although this role does not involve team management, it requires excellent communication skills and a target-driven mindset to achieve business growth and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential clients such as importers, exporters, traders, and online sellers across designated regions including Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad.
- Develop new business opportunities through outbound calls, messaging, email campaigns, and in-person visits to clients.
- Promote and sell the full range of services including sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, road and rail freight on the China-Pakistan corridor, customs clearance, warehousing, and door-to-door delivery.
- Prepare precise and competitive quotations by calculating rates and carrier buy rates while safeguarding gross profit margins.
- Respond promptly to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and tenders, actively following up on each until the outcome is confirmed as won, lost, or expired.
- Coordinate the handover of won business smoothly to operations and documentation teams, providing personal support during the initial shipment to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage and grow existing accounts by cross-selling services and reactivating dormant clients to maximize revenue potential.
- Monitor and follow up on receivables within approved credit terms to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales pipeline, client visits, quotations, wins, and gross profit in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Report weekly performance metrics and activities to management to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

- Working knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP) and core shipping documents
