Union Developers is seeking a diligent Store Keeper to manage the company's inventory and materials efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in inventory management and material handling. The Store Keeper will oversee the proper receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy in record keeping and timely availability of materials for various departments. This role involves supervising a team of five persons, coordinating daily warehouse operations to maintain an organized and efficient storage environment while adhering to safety standards. The Store Keeper will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy by utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to record stock movements and conduct regular audits. The candidate will work closely with procurement and operations teams to forecast material needs and manage stock levels effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to prevent stock discrepancies and facilitate smooth warehouse workflows. This role requires proactive problem-solving ability to handle material handling challenges and support overall supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory levels using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Receive and verify incoming shipments, ensuring quantity and quality match purchase orders.
• Supervise and guide a team of five warehouse staff in daily operations and safety procedures.
• Coordinate the timely distribution of materials to various departments as requested.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.
• Manage storage space effectively to optimize warehouse layout and accessibility.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to forecast material needs and avoid stockouts.
• Train team members on proper handling of materials and use of inventory software.
• Report inventory status and operational challenges to management promptly.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce errors.
