The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging English lessons that foster student learning and proficiency. This role requires strong classroom management skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to motivate and engage students effectively. The English Teacher will work closely with students to improve their language skills, comprehension, and critical thinking abilities. While this position does not involve managing a team, the English Teacher will collaborate with peers and contribute to curriculum development and student assessment strategies. The candidate will maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth within the institution. This role demands excellent organizational skills, a deep understanding of English language education, and commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive English lessons aligned with curriculum standards to students of varying proficiency levels.
• Create and implement engaging educational activities and assessments that promote language acquisition and comprehension.
• Maintain effective classroom management to foster a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
• Monitor and evaluate students' progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their improvement.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of learners and accommodate different learning styles.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices for instruction and assessment.
• Encourage student participation and create opportunities for students to practice speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.
• Stay updated on current teaching methodologies and English language education resources to continuously enhance instructional quality.
• Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions and written assignments.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required by the institution.
