United Human Resource Services Pvt. Ltd seeks a skilled Network Automation Engineer with at least two years of experience to join their team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing automated network solutions using advanced scripting and automation tools. The successful candidate will apply strong expertise in network protocols, Linux system administration, and automation frameworks to optimize network performance and reliability. Key elements include configuration automation for routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, as well as VLAN provisioning. The role does not involve team management but requires strong individual contributor skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates must demonstrate solid knowledge of IP networking, network protocols, and automation technologies. They will engage closely with telecommunication service providers and enterprise network environments to automate repetitive network tasks, streamline operations, and support network orchestration. The position also requires effective communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder interaction, along with a commitment to continuous learning in emerging network and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated network configuration solutions using tools such as Ansible, NAPALM, and Netmiko.
• Automate BGP routing and policy management, OSPF configuration, and VLAN provisioning to reduce manual intervention and errors.
• Manage and troubleshoot network protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, IS-IS, IP/MPLS, and VPNs (Layer 2 and Layer 3).
• Administer and support Linux-based systems, including Bash shell scripting for automation and system management.
• Integrate and utilize REST APIs for network device interaction and orchestration.
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to coordinate complex network automation initiatives.
• Support cloud and virtualized network environments through working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenStack.
• Ensure documentation quality by creating detailed technical reports, presentations, and customer-facing materials.
• Apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve network automation issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and continuously enhance skills in network automation and scripting languages.
• Facilitate communication with telecommunication service providers and enterprise clients to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions.
• Participate in testing and validation processes for new network automation tools and technologies.
• Assist in network orchestration and software-defined networking (SDN) projects as needed.
• Work flexible hours when required to meet project deadlines and operational needs.
