Description
United Human Resource Services Pvt. Ltd is seeking a skilled RAN L2 Engineer with expertise in Radio Access Network Optimization and Network Troubleshooting to join its team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience specializing in Huawei BSC, RNC, and eNodeB domains, with a solid background in configuration implementation and performance monitoring. This role involves providing Level-2 support and carrying out comprehensive troubleshooting duties, ensuring network health and optimal performance across various Radio Access Network elements. The candidate is responsible for daily health checks of network controllers and proactively resolving KPI degradation issues through detailed analysis and remote support to field teams. Additional responsibilities include software upgrades, patch implementations, and drive testing analysis to maintain and enhance network reliability. This position requires an individual with a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field who is capable of working independently without managing a team.

Responsibilities
- Perform Level-2 support and troubleshooting of Base Station Controllers (BSC) and Radio Network Controllers (RNC) to maintain network stability.
- Implement and monitor configuration settings for BSC, RNC, and eNodeB to ensure compliant and efficient operation.
- Conduct daily health checks on network controllers to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Analyze and resolve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) degradation problems through detailed network performance assessments.
- Provide remote technical support to field teams to assist in on-site troubleshooting and rectification of network issues, including hardware replacements.
- Execute software upgrades, updates, and patch implementations on BSC, RNC, and eNodeB components to keep network infrastructure current and secure.
- Perform drive testing analysis to assess network coverage, quality, and performance, identifying areas for optimization.
- Conduct RF performance analysis to detect and mitigate interference, signal quality issues, and other radio-specific problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network optimization and address emerging technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, issues resolved, and configuration changes for compliance and audit purposes.
