Description
UTNC is seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to join our team and oversee the installation and maintenance of video surveillance systems. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in video surveillance installation, possesses a 12th second year educational qualification, and is adept at managing a team of 10 personnel effectively. This role involves ensuring the proper setup of CCTV systems to enhance security and surveillance capabilities for our clients. The CCTV Technician works closely with the team to plan, install, and troubleshoot video surveillance equipment, ensuring all systems function optimally and meet safety and operational standards. The role demands hands-on experience with hardware components, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate and train team members for efficient project completion. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining documentation and reports related to system installations and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 10 technicians, providing guidance and support throughout installation projects.
- Plan and execute the installation of CCTV and other video surveillance equipment according to client requirements.
- Inspect and test video surveillance systems to identify and resolve any technical issues promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on video surveillance hardware to ensure consistent system performance.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure system specifications and expectations are met.
- Train team members on the latest installation techniques, safety protocols, and equipment handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical problems related to CCTV systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary equipment and manage inventory.
