Description
Veridix Pakistan Io seeks a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join their dynamic development team. This role requires expertise in both frontend and backend technologies to develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet client and business needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications with a particular focus on healthcare standards and regulations. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create reliable systems that handle protected health information (PHI) and comply with HIPAA requirements. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will apply your strong foundation in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python, along with frameworks like React, Next.js, and Django. Your responsibilities will include REST API development and integration, authentication and authorization configurations, and ensuring high availability of healthcare systems adhering to HL7 and FHIR standards. You will work with databases like PostgreSQL and use version control tools including Git. This role requires at least one year of experience and a strong academic background in computer science or software engineering, complemented by good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. While this position does not include team management duties, the engineer will play a vital role in delivering quality software that supports the healthcare domain's unique compliance and security needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, and Django frameworks.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs following best practices to facilitate seamless frontend-backend communication.
- Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect sensitive healthcare data in compliance with security standards.
- Ensure applications meet HL7 and FHIR healthcare interoperability standards and adhere to HIPAA compliance for PHI protection.
- Work with PostgreSQL databases to design schemas, write efficient queries, and optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and robust software solutions.
- Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to improve performance and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS to deploy and manage scalable healthcare applications efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in healthcare IT and software engineering to continuously enhance system capabilities.
- Ensure that all developed systems are scalable, maintainable, and secure, aligning with organizational and industry standards.
