In this position, the manager collaborates closely with clients to understand their wedding needs and provide tailored consultation that aligns with their vision and budget. They take full ownership of the event booking process, including proposal development and negotiations, and maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders. Additionally, the manager supervises the floor operations during events, ensuring every detail meets quality standards. Leadership is essential, as the role involves guiding a team to perform at their best, fostering a productive and supportive work environment, and driving continuous improvements in sales strategies and event execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of seven staff members, providing direction, training, and motivation to achieve sales and operational goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through effective wedding sales and client consultations.
- Coordinate comprehensive event planning and execution, tailored specifically to wedding marquee requirements and client expectations.
- Manage event booking processes from initial inquiry to contract finalization, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in proposals and agreements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to arrange all necessary resources, confirm delivery schedules, and handle any on-site coordination.
- Oversee floor operations during weddings to ensure service excellence, smooth event flow, and prompt resolution of any issues.
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and participating in promotional activities specific to wedding events.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations during event setup and execution.
- Monitor event budgets and expenditures to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
- Regularly communicate with upper management to report on sales performance, client feedback, and operational insights.
