Maintenance Engineer

Description

As a Maintenance Engineer at Vivo Pakistan, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and repair of mobile phones sent in by customers or distributors. You work closely with clients to address their technical inquiries and provide efficient solutions, maintaining clear communication throughout the service process. Your role involves studying specialized technical materials related to mobile phones and assisting management in various operational and performance improvement tasks. This position requires you to be responsive to feedback and proactive in tracking and resolving issues, guaranteeing high standards of customer satisfaction. In this role, you do not manage a team but play a critical function in supporting the service department by stepping in for service consultants when needed. You also handle a variety of technical and administrative duties assigned by the Director. A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and repair mobile phones sent by customers and distributors.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers to provide updates on repair status and technical support.
• Study and apply technical materials and guidance related to mobile phone maintenance and repair.
• Address professional and technical questions raised by customers efficiently and effectively.
• Assist management by completing various assigned tasks to enhance operational performance.
• Provide timely feedback on technical issues and monitor resolution progress.
• Fill in for service consultants during their absence or busy periods to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on mobile devices and related equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and handle electrical repair tasks with precision and safety.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace to support efficient workflow.
• Contribute to continuous learning and professional growth by staying updated on the latest technological advancements in the mobile phone industry.
• Support the Director by executing additional duties as assigned to meet organizational goals.
