Voltax Power is seeking a detail-oriented Solar Systems Engineer with at least three years of experience in the renewable energy sector to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of solar system design, installation, and commissioning. This position requires significant hands-on experience with project execution and the ability to coordinate site activities effectively. The Solar Systems Engineer will manage a team of professionals and work closely with subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of solar projects. The successful candidate will be adept at problem-solving during site operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining strong communication channels within the team and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient and reliable solar power systems that meet client requirements and comply with industry standards.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems, ensuring timely project completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate a team of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to fulfill project goals.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and resource availability throughout project execution.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate feasibility, prepare technical reports, and recommend design adaptations based on environmental and structural factors.
• Implement project schedules and monitor progress, ensuring milestones are achieved within set timelines and budgets.
• Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements during all phases of project execution to protect personnel and equipment.
• Resolve technical issues encountered in the field by proposing effective and efficient solutions to prevent project delays.
• Provide technical support to sales and customer service teams by delivering accurate product and system information.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and skills related to solar technologies and industry trends to foster innovation and improve project outcomes.
• Work closely with the senior management team to align project objectives with company goals and strategic initiatives.
