At WellCure Pharmacy, we are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Salesperson who embodies honesty, responsibility, and punctuality. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring customers receive prompt and professional service, guided by sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products and prescriptions. This role involves assisting customers in locating medicines efficiently, managing inventory systematically, and maintaining a well-organized and presentable sales environment. With a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, the Pharmacy Salesperson will contribute significantly to the smooth operation and reputation of WellCure Pharmacy. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a pharmacy or retail setting and a foundational educational background equivalent to Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS). The successful candidate will operate proficiently with basic POS and computer systems to support daily transactions, inventory control, and record maintenance. Adherence to company policies and ethical standards, including strict prescription handling procedures and expiry date monitoring, is essential. This role does not entail team management responsibilities but offers an opportunity to develop expertise in pharmacy sales and customer relations within a professional healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in selecting appropriate medicines and products, answering queries with product and medicine knowledge.
• Verify and handle prescriptions correctly to ensure legal compliance and customer safety.
• Locate and identify medicines quickly in the inventory to maximize customer satisfaction and service efficiency.
• Manage stock and inventory by checking expiry dates, organizing shelves properly, and reporting stock shortages or discrepancies.
• Operate the point of sale (POS) system accurately for billing and transaction processing while maintaining detailed and accurate transaction records.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and professional presentation of the pharmacy sales floor to create a welcoming environment.
• Support promotional activities by communicating product benefits and offers effectively to customers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations applicable to pharmaceutical sales environments.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to receive and inspect incoming stock for quality and accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking to maintain optimal product availability at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling customer and prescription information in line with company policies.
• Prepare reports related to sales, inventory movement, and customer feedback to support management decision-making.
• Continuously update product knowledge and skills to stay informed about new medicines, regulations, and industry trends.
