Description
The successful candidate must possess strong skills in operating various printing machines, including 3.20-meter UV roll-to-roll printers and 5-meter large-format roll-to-roll printers. They are expected to execute machine setups, perform printhead maintenance, handle UV inks, and manage print quality through effective color calibration and troubleshooting. Additionally, proficiency in software such as Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and RIP software is crucial for preparing print-ready artwork and ensuring smooth print production workflows. This role involves managing diverse printing materials like flex, banners, vinyl, and stickers as well as handling lamination and contour cutting tasks, ensuring all output meets the company's high standards for precision and quality.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain industrial roll-to-roll printing machines, including UV and large-format printers.
- Perform regular printhead maintenance, cleaning, and UV ink handling to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Conduct color calibration, print quality control, and troubleshooting of printing issues to maintain high standards.
- Load, align, and adjust media such as flex, banners, vinyl, and stickers, managing print settings according to material specifications.
- Operate plotter cutting machines for vinyl and sticker contour cutting, ensuring precise cutting based on prepared files.
- Manage professional lamination operations, handling materials and finishing processes efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare print-ready artwork and files using Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and RIP software, contributing to streamlined print production workflows.
- Monitor print quality continuously, addressing color management and other technical concerns promptly to avoid production delays.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
- Adhere to company safety standards, guidelines, and policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Demonstrate accountability by participating in performance evaluations and proving practical machine operating skills as required.
- Collaborate with production team members to ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and commit to long-term employment under the company’s contractual and legal requirements.
