YDM Enterprises is seeking a skilled Electrician with at least five years of experience to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring all work complies with established electrical wiring standards and codes. The role involves working on various electrical wiring and cable installation projects and requires a strong understanding of electrical code knowledge to maintain safety and efficiency. This position includes managing a team of 15 persons, providing guidance, supervision, and ensuring project deadlines are met effectively. The ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of electrical wiring, installation practices, and safety procedures. In addition to hands-on skills, this role requires effective team management and coordination to facilitate the completion of electrical tasks while maintaining high-quality standards. The Electrician will collaborate closely with other departments and stakeholders to support electrical infrastructure and ensure reliable electrical system performance across all projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 15 electricians and technicians, ensuring productive workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to execute accurate installations and repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on electrical systems to prevent malfunctions and hazards.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Plan and coordinate cable installation and wiring layouts to optimize system efficiency and safety.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions, providing swift and effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, installation, and repair activities for reporting and compliance purposes.
• Train and mentor team members, promoting skills development and adherence to safety protocols and electrical standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to align electrical work with overall project goals and timelines.
• Manage inventory of electrical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability of necessary materials for projects.
• Review and update standard operating procedures and best practices to continuously improve electrical work quality.
