Full Stack Developer (PHP/Laravel, React.js & AI-Assisted Development)

Zam Software Solutions is seeking an experienced and AI-driven Full Stack Developer with a strong background in PHP, Laravel, and React.js. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high proficiency in AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor AI, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT, integrating these technologies into their daily development processes. This role requires an individual capable of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, CRM platforms, and API integrations by leveraging both traditional and AI-assisted development techniques. The developer will contribute to building secure, efficient, and maintainable software solutions, working with modern web technologies and frameworks, while optimizing application performance and adhering to best practices in software architecture and development workflows.

The successful candidate is expected to have at least two years of professional experience in full-stack development. This includes strong backend expertise in PHP and Laravel, solid understanding of MVC architecture, and extensive experience in frontend development with React.js and JavaScript. Practical knowledge of database management using MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as familiarity with caching systems such as Redis, is essential. In addition, the candidate must excel in AI-assisted coding workflows, demonstrating the ability to harness AI tools to develop complete features, debug, refactor, and improve application performance without compromising code quality or security. This role demands high levels of independence, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering production-ready code within collaborative team environments but does not involve managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications and API-driven platforms using PHP, Laravel, and React.js.
• Implement and manage backend services including RESTful API development, business logic, and database schema design with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Leverage AI-powered coding tools, such as Cursor AI, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT, to accelerate feature delivery and improve development workflow efficiency.
• Develop reusable, responsive, and user-friendly frontend components using React.js, adhering to modern development patterns including Hooks and state management.
• Review, validate, test, and optimize AI-generated code to ensure high standards of quality, maintainability, security, and performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services to extend application functionality and meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing codebases to maintain and improve software reliability and scalability.
• Optimize database queries, caching strategies, and application performance using tools like Redis and advanced indexing techniques.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers to deliver seamless and efficient software solutions within project timelines.
• Follow version control practices and workflows using Git, participate in code reviews, and uphold coding standards and documentation.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to independently handle development tasks, ensure application security, and maintain software architecture best practices.
• Adopt AI-assisted coding methodologies (Vibe Coding) to enhance productivity while maintaining full control over the coding output and decision-making process.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern development tools and techniques to keep the software solutions innovative and competitive.
