Zarar Chemicals Private Limited is seeking diligent and motivated Associate Engineers holding a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. This entry-level role is designed for fresh diploma holders located in the Wah Cantt area who are eager to apply their technical knowledge in a practical industry setting. Candidates with a background in occupational safety and health, including NEBOSH and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) certifications, are highly desirable for this role. The position focuses on ensuring quality control, supporting manufacturing processes, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols within the chemical manufacturing environment. In this role, Associate Engineers perform technical drawing interpretation, use software tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drafting and design, and participate in hazard identification and risk assessments. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it requires collaboration with multidisciplinary departments to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining safety standards in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), statistical process control, and preventive maintenance best practices.
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings accurately to guide manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Apply quality control techniques to monitor and maintain product standards throughout production.
- Support manufacturing processes by coordinating with different departments to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Perform routine and preventive equipment maintenance to ensure operational reliability and reduce downtime.
- Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ANSYS software to assist in drafting, modeling, and simulation tasks.
- Follow established safety protocols and participate actively in hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation efforts.
- Adhere to and promote compliance with OSHA standards and organizational safety policies.
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to track and improve manufacturing process stability.
- Assist in chemical process monitoring and control to ensure safe handling and accurate production outputs.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to document inspection results and identify areas for process improvement.
- Engage in training sessions and continuous learning to keep updated with latest industry standards and technologies.
- Support environmental and occupational health initiatives in line with NEBOSH and HSE practices.
