Zehri Contracting Supplies seeks a passionate and dedicated Online English Tutor to join our educational team. This role involves delivering interactive and engaging English language lessons to learners via online platforms, focusing on developing their speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation skills. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and demonstrate the ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and progression. With a required experience of at least two years in teaching English as a second or foreign language, the tutor is expected to apply communicative language teaching methods tailored to individual student needs. As an Online English Tutor, the professional works autonomously without managing a team, focusing entirely on improving student outcomes through well-designed lesson plans and effective use of digital learning tools. The role requires proficient use of various online classroom platforms alongside the development and deployment of teaching materials that enhance student engagement and facilitate measurable learning progress. The tutor carries responsibility for assessing student progress regularly and adapting instructional approaches to meet evolving learning challenges and goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct engaging online English lessons tailored to students' proficiency levels and learning objectives.
- Utilize communicative language teaching techniques to enhance speaking and conversational skills.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, activities, and assignments that address grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and listening competencies.
- Use various digital learning tools and online classroom platforms to create an interactive learning experience.
- Assess student performance through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support student improvement.
- Track student progress meticulously and adjust teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning needs.
- Prepare and update teaching materials ensuring alignment with current language teaching trends and student interests.
- Create a positive and supportive online classroom environment that fosters student confidence and motivation.
- Provide helpful explanations and answer students’ questions to clarify difficult concepts.
- Maintain professional communication with students and, when appropriate, with parents or guardians regarding progress and challenges.
