Description
Zonain Kites Maker is seeking an experienced Kites Maker to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have practical expertise in crafting kites using German paper, capable of producing kites in sizes 1 tawa, 1.5 tawa, and 2.5 tawa. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of kite design and pattern making to ensure the production of high-quality kites that meet company standards. The position demands hands-on experience with the materials and techniques specific to kite manufacturing, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal in the finished products. The Kites Maker will lead a team of 10 persons, overseeing the daily operations involved in kite production. This includes guiding the team through the technical aspects of kite crafting while maintaining productivity and quality control. Effective team management skills, combined with technical knowledge of kite construction, are essential to foster a collaborative environment and achieve production targets. The role also involves training team members and implementing best practices within the workshop to enhance efficiency and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Design and create kites using German paper in sizes 1 tawa, 1.5 tawa, and 2.5 tawa according to company specifications.
- Oversee the production process to ensure each kite meets quality and design standards.
- Lead, supervise, and manage a team of 10 to maintain efficient workflow and high workmanship.
- Train and develop team members in kite design and construction techniques.
- Select appropriate materials and tools for kite making to optimize durability and aesthetic quality.
- Develop and refine kite patterns to improve performance and visual appeal.
- Coordinate with management to meet production deadlines and maintain inventory levels.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols within the workshop environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support consistent production quality.
